Government should have the power to take owners property and sell it to private corporations for projects. This power should simply limited to legitimate government projects, such as highways, or new affordable housing projects. When the Government abuses its powers, thats when things get out of hand, and thats when people begin to protest.

I see what you mean. There should be stricter laws on eminent domain. The government shouldn't be able to to take property in order to build something that would generate more revenue. Highways will serve everyone and there is a case to be made for eminent domain there but luxury services which generate high revenue but low use shouldn't be able to have property seized for them.
ReplyDeleteyes I agree, They could also put it to a vote and if like 4/5 of the public think that its alright then maybe it has a big enough affect to the public that is alright, other than that i don't see how it could be alright
